With Waikiki as a central magnet for Honolulu dining, other restaurants on the island of Oahu are legendary along the North Shore and on the east side at Hanauma Bay. Honolulu may well be capital of urban romantic dinners under the stars, and beyond Waikiki Beach are lots of options tucked into shopping centers and residential enclaves. Ethnic fare, especially Asian, is readily available.
